The Missions Ministry of Green Valley Baptist Church has the goal of always leading people to intimacy with Christ and leading them to follow Him in their daily lives. In addition to supporting the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, which supports thousands of missionaries across the globe and throughout the United States, Green Valley has helped start several new churches.
We are also involved in other local and international mission trips and projects.
Multi-Cultural Christian Center is a facility located in the Chinatown area of Las Vegas. It presently serves as the host facility for several different groups including two Hispanic groups, a Haitian group, a Chinese group and a Filipino group. Our hope and plan is for these groups to grow to become their own church. God is doing some amazing things at the MCCC!
College Park Baptist Church is a campus of GVBC. College Park is a church in the heart of the city… with a heart for the city.
Calvary Downtown Outreach is based out of College Park and holds an outreach every Saturday to minister to the homeless. They worship the Lord, have a quick sermon, feed the homeless lunch, and pray one-on-one with those that need it. Green Valley sponsors CDO and supplies the volunteers several times a year.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is another ministry that we partner with. They have many different programs ranging from short-term housing to long-term rehabilitation and recovery programs. They also serve thousands of meals each week to those who are hungry.
Colina De Luz is an orphanage in La Gloria, Mexico, that we partner with. Each year a group from Green Valley travels to the orphanage to work alongside the kids and staff from the orphanage in a community outreach project.
