The Missions Ministry of Green Valley Baptist Church has the goal of always leading people to intimacy with Christ and leading them to follow Him in their daily lives. In addition to supporting the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, which supports thousands of missionaries across the globe and throughout the United States, Green Valley has helped start several new churches.

We are also involved in other local and international mission trips and projects.

Renaissance Baptist Church
GVBC has partnered with Renaissance Church and they have moved to our previous College Park campus located in the heart of the city… with a heart for the city.

Calvary Downtown Outreach
Is based out of Renaissance Church and holds an outreach every Saturday to minister to the homeless. They worship the Lord, have a quick sermon, feed the homeless lunch, and pray one-on-one with those that need it. Green Valley sponsors CDO and supplies the volunteers several times a year.

Safely Home is a ministry that has worked with refugees in Las Vegas for years. Safely Home Refugee Ministry trains and equips volunteers from local churches to meet refugees resettled in Las Vegas where they are – a world away from the home they knew. Through these relationships refugees are empowered to become self-sufficient as they adjust and integrate into American culture. Experiencing God’s love through tangible acts of mercy, kindness and authentic friendships, our desire is that refugees are confident that they are “safely home.”

If you would like to financially support this team, you can make a donation to “Missions” through GIVE ONLINE or through the GVBC App

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 18-20
