Sewing Ministries

Whether sewing is your passion, or you have no talent beyond cutting, or ironing, there is a place in our Sewing Ministries for you! You don’t have to own a sewing machine, or be a gifted seamstress to come fellowship and be a part of the work we do for the Kingdom of God.

Scripture Quilters

The Scripture Quilters do just as their name suggests–They sew quilts with Scriptures! But not for themselves. They donate the quilts to someone who really needs the scriptures and prayers, whether that person is in the hospital, suffering a loss, or struggling with other things. The Scripture Quilters are blessed by this ministry of fellowship and giving.

When: 2nd and 4th Wednesday

Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm

Where: Fellowship Hall

MAD Needlers

Don’t let their name fool you! These are some of sweetest ladies you’ll meet! MAD stands for Making A Difference, and they certainly do make a difference in our community! They’ve made stockings for Veteran’s Homes, saddle bags for wheelchairs, … And everything they make, they donate to someone who needs it, and it gives them to opportunity to share something they need more: the Good News of Christ!
MAD Needlers is currently working on projects in members homes.
For more information, email Bev Sigurdson at
The MAD Needlers have partnered with Dress-A-Girl to sew and provide dresses for girls in 58+ countries! These dresses above are headed to Lybia!
Please continue to pray for this ministry and those who will be touched by all of their hard work and love.
