GROWTH GROUPS
Growth Groups are groups of people who gather on a regular basis at the church campus or at homes for the purpose of connecting with God through studying His Word together and each other through fellowship. God does not want us to do life alone.
We continually have new growth groups and studies starting, check out our Growth Groups page to find a group and sign up.
MINISTRIES
Ministries are where your can connect and grow with others. Find a place to fill your cup or even serve others. There is a place for you!
We have ministries with groups available for Women, Men, Kids, Students, Young Adults, 55+ Adults, Worship, and more!

Greeters/Ushers are needed before and after each worship service on the dates you are scheduled. Service times are 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM and 5:00 PM

We worship in spirit and in truth as we serve with reverence and joy. The many different roles on our team all serve our common goal to glorify, honor and exalt our King, Jesus Christ, in a way that is authentic and passionate.

Our mission is to partner with families to nurture a heart for God within each child. There are multiple opportunities to serve with children birth through 5th grade. (Membership and background checks are required for certain roles.)
Areas of need:
Sundays at 9:00AM, 10:45 AM, and 5:00 PM (Starts September 10)
- Preschool large group leader
- Elementary large group leader
- Preschool small group teacher
- Elementary small group teacher
Kids 4 Truth | Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM (September – May)
- 3-4 year old Leader

- 4th-5th grade Leader
- Check in/Security
Our Student Ministry, also known as Summit, exists to create environments each week where students grades 6th-12th can gather together, encounter God, and be transformed. (Membership and background checks are required for certain roles.)
Areas of need:
- Small group Leader
- Chaperone/Driver
- Prepare and serve meals (Sunday Nights)
Security is of utmost importance here at GVBC. We have a great group of individuals who assist Sundays before, during, and after our services at 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM, and 5:00 PM.
- Monitor all entrances to the building
- Monitor entrances at all kids areas
- Monitor the parking lot
Step 4: Go
PRAY & GO
Pray & Go is a church-wide initiative and is an ongoing prayer outreach ministry of our church for our community. We are currently focusing on a 3 mile radius around our church building.

EVANGELISM TRAINING
Evangelism training happens throughout the year for a few weeks at a time. We alternate between three main curriculums to assist our members to share the Gospel with family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers.
Our main curriculums are:
- Share Jesus Without Fear by William Fay & Ralph Hodge
- The 3 Circles by the North American Mission Board
- The Best News by James Merritt
