SHARING PROJECTS
GVBC Women’s Ministry organizes sharing projects throughout the year for Fall, Spring, and sometimes over the Summer.
Spring 2024 we are collecting items for FREE International!!
This is an organization that works to end human trafficking in the U.S. and helps reestablish those affected by it. Please be in prayer for this ministry and bring all items to the Church Office Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
We are collecting until May 8.

MOTHERHOOD
Don’t Mom Alone!
Motherhood exists to see that mothers know Jesus, grow in their faith, live out motherhood His way, and do it all in community with other moms. Motherhood offers a place to come and be part of gracious conversations, to cultivate genuine friendships, and to gather biblical guidance and encouragement.
When: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from September-May. From 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

MOMS IN PRAYER
Moms In Prayer International invites all moms to pray for their kids, their schools, their teachers, and their futures. This prayer group impacts children and schools as they gather to pray each week. Whatever age or grade your child is, you are encouraged to participate.

NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS
Meet other women from your neighborhood and study God’s Word together by joining a Women’s Neighborhood Community Group!
Two Meetings Available:
Mission Hills/Henderson: (Horizon Ridge/College Dr.) 2nd & 4th Thursdays, 6:00 PM
Green Valley/Paradise: (Eastern/Windmill) 1st & 3rd Saturdays, 1:00 PM

SCRIPTURE QUILTERS
The Scripture Quilters do just as their name suggests–They sew quilts with Scriptures! But not for themselves. They donate the quilts to someone who really needs the scriptures and prayers, whether that person is in the hospital, suffering a loss, or struggling with other things. The Scripture Quilters are blessed by this ministry of fellowship and giving.
Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a similar to Scripture Quilters, they make Prayer shawls for those who really need prayers and encouragement, also whether that person is in the hospital, suffering a loss, or struggling with other things. If you love to knit or crochet (or would like to learn) we have a place for you!
